About

Christina Boyd wears many hats as she is a writer, editor, reviewer, artist, and a great reader. Since 2013, Christina has worked with forty-five authors, curated and self-published five multi-author anthologies, and edited over fifty books. A life member of Jane Austen Society of North America and Pacific Northwest Writers Association, Christina lives quietly in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with her dear Mr. B and a silver Labrador—now that her Boydlings have gone off on adventures. Like main character Jude, Christina is half-Filipino/half white, an art lover, and an unabashed Anglophile. Her own whirlwind English fantasy came true thanks to actor Henry Cavill when they sipped champagne together atop the London Eye. True story. You can even Google it.

New Release: TO MARK THE OCCASION: BIRTHDAY TALES FOR JANE AUSTEN'S 250th
TO MARK THE OCCASION, a short story anthology to commemorate Jane Austen's 250th. I wrote the short "Mary Crawford's Debut." Dear friends, I hope, even if Austen isn't your cup of tea, you will buy the anthology to read my story and, more importantly, support a great cause. All proceeds from this anthology will be donated to the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation, founded by Jane Austen's 5th great niece, Caroline Jane Knight. Caroline also wrote the heartfelt foreword to the anthology.

INTERVIEW: Melissa Anne Published Her First Book in Secret
Christina Boyd interviews Melissa Anne, an accidental author who fell down the Jane Austen rabbit hole and never wanted to leave. After devouring hundreds of Pride and Prejudice variations, she thought, “I could try this too”—and has since managed to publish more than a dozen full-length novels and a few novellas! From her home in Georgia (by way of East Tennessee), she crafts Regency romances that stay true to Austen’s era.

INTERVIEW: Pernille Hughes Says Find Your Writing Tribe
Christina Boyd interviews British author Pernille Hughes. She has previously had three novels published: Ten Years, Probably the Best Kiss in the World, and Punch-drunk Love. Her writing has also been printed in the Sunday Times. She lives in Buckinghamshire, and while the kids are at school, she scoffs cake and writes stories in order to maintain a shred of sanity.
